The picture on the left was shot on a cool September day at Big Falls Park. The park is located in southern Price County
in Wisconsin. The Jump River runs through the middle of the entire park. We were taking pictures of the rapids and any wildlife
that we could find.
This web site is not against hunting. I believe it is a vital part of our wildlife ecology and keeping it in balance.
This is based on the fact that the hunter is a true sportsman that ensures conservation and preservation are on top of
the list. This past year I found poached whitetail deer after the deer season in Wisconsin. The rack was cut off
the deer and the rest of it was left to lay.
What this site is against is the ruining of natural habitat to the point of endangering wildlife to extinction. And
cruel hunting means such as arctic seal hunting in Canada.
Wetlands are being filled in at an incredible rate. Half of the species of turtles in Wisconsin are either threatened or
endangered.
This site is also dedicated to keeping wildlife in balance. The Bald Eagle is now delisted which is a great accomplishment.
Then there is the ever-controversial wolf. At the time of this writing the wolf was being threatened to be took off the federal
endangered species listing. The control would be given to each individual state.
Not everybody shares the same views about the Gray Wolf. Then again you can add the Porcupine and certain turtles. This
website believes all three add value to the forest.
